The Little Lot is a not-for profit community nursery and registered charity. We opened our doors in April 1992. We provide a fun, friendly and stimulating environment for 2-4 year olds, where the emphasis is on children ‘Learning through Play’. You are very welcome to visit us if you are considering The Little Lot for your child. Contact us via the 'Get in Touch' link below or give us a call to arrange a visit.
Children are valued as individuals and we aim to provide the very best environment for those children. We aim to give the children a fulfilling and rewarding pre-school education, which will provide a firm foundation for future growth and development.
We are concerned with the all-round development of the children, their physical, intellectual, moral, social and emotional development. Our activities are planned and structured to enable children to extend their skills in all areas, at their own pace with qualified and experienced staff, encouraging and extending the children’s ideas and activities in order to work through and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Principles.
Miss Berry is our Nursery Manager and Safeguarding Officer. She is trained in Paediatric First Aid.
